This is a set of 2 hand painted Nippon dishes. One is a nut dish 8 W x 2 H & the other a small two handled serving dish 7 3/4 W x 1 H. Pattern is black stripes around the outer edge with pink roses & gold gilding and center of dishes is white. They bear the green M in wreath makers mark produced 1891-1911. The makers mark also says handpainted Nippon. Condition is very good, no chips, cracks or stains. There is color loss on the gold gilding but little color loss on the rest of the print.
