Kobe Bryant NY Toy Fair 1999 Promotion Action figure NBA Jams Collector
During the 1999 NY Toy Fair (NYTF 99) Mattel introduced their new product line which included the 3.5 inch figures in NBA JAMS set. A few promotional giveways were given to executives and patrons and I was a lucky recipient!
This is an unopened original unit of the 1999 New York Toy Fair event.
The name plate tag reads MATTEL LOGO NYTF '99 NBA LOGO . Notice the basketball also has the NYTF '99 printed on it in the packaging.
Please notice the packaging does not have the UPC BAR CODE in the back as this is a sample, pre mass production of the ones you saw in the market.
Notice there are no stickers on the clear plastic bubble casing that showes off the Lakers logo and Kobe Bryant's name like the mass produced ones.
The pack has one crease across the top where the words NBA start. Other than this crease the packaging has a worn edge or two. The plastic bubble is pushed in on one side…other side perfect
