This medal is a bit of a mystery in that I cannot find any info about its exact origin online. It appears to be a medal from some kind of shooting competition based on the pose of the figures, and it is from the 8th infantry and 1969 based on the medal text. It comes in what I presume is its original case.
Medal condition is excellent. I believe it spent most, if not all of its life in this case. There is some green oxidation on the back of the shield portion from a foam backing that used to be in the case behind it. Case condition is fair with some wear and a small spot of brown discoloration.
