Really unique and collectible whiskey jug stamped H Kennedy Barrowfirld Pottery Glasgow. Not an original cork. Please examine photos closely. There are two tiny flakes off around the lip and the handle has a crack but almost looks as though it’s under the glaze so I’m unsure of if it’s a repair at the factory or more recent.
The jug reads Heather Dew Whiskey Mitchell Bros Glasgow Proprietors
The other side reads The Greybeard
According to ://www.scottishpotterysociety.org.uk/barrowfield/ I believe this jug would be pre 1891.
