Italian art pottery covered soup bowl peasant village 1960's MCM. The color is yellow ... The red clay underneath sometimes gives the illusion of a super.light chartreuse yellow but glaze is PRIMARY YELLOW This was supposed to be made in the 1960s and they came in different colors I've seen red, orange and yellow so far I'm not sure how many colors were made and this is a fabulous piece because it's so organic looking and it's very high quality Italian pottery. Mint condition and although I'm listing one of these with a lid I have about six available. If you need more than one let me know and I'll make a separate ad here for you.
Also I have listed other pieces in this pattern and in the same color. There are wonderful deep soup cereal bowls and there are some bread plates or saucers I'm not sure and there are some coffee mugs !!
