US Army Vintage Herringbone HBT Jacket Modified

This is a modified herringbone jacket that was used by the US Army.

While it retains the original form, it has been redesigned with changes to the sleeve cuffs, waistband, and other details. The pockets have been completely removed and redesigned. The collar has been removed and I have folded it inwards and secured it with stitching. Due to the lack of fold-over width, it was not possible to create a triple fold.

There are traces of something being attached to both sleeves, where it was removed. There are some small holes starting to form in the areas where it was removed.

The size is around 38 in the shoulders and chest, but the waist is significantly shaped, making it feel like a size 36.

The measurements are as follows:

Bust: 57 cm
Shoulder width: 51.5 cm
Sleeve length: 54.5 cm
Length: 58 cm
Waist: 45 cm

There is general light dirtiness. Although it doesn't show in the photos, there is a light brown stain throughout. As it is a modified piece, the stitching is a bit rough in places, but this is part of the charm of vintage clothing, making it a truly unique item.

The jacket is said to be from around 1950. It is likely from the Korean War.
