Perfect for the collector of earlier Southwestern jewelry! This ring has an oval cabochon of a green-blue Carico Lake turquoise, which has a distinctive teal color and inclusion pattern. Turquoise is bezel-set and accentuated by beading around the four direction points. The split shank has what looks to be incised grass patterns, with an arrow pointing downward below it. In excellent vintage condition, so look over photos carefully.
No markings on this piece, but it did test as sterling silver. However, when I got the ring, it had quite the age indicator: someone had wrapped a 1950s-era adhesive bandage around it. If you know those types of bandage, then you know that it was made of latex, which degrades predictably over time. I have cleaned off the bandage and its adhesive, but this ring definitely can be dated at least to the 1950s, and may well be from as early as the 1920s-1930s. US size 5.5.
