Very fragile natural specimen.
Wulfenite is a secondary mineral in weathering zones of lead deposits, or rarely precipitates from volcanic fumarole gas. Wulfenite forms orange-yellow, yellow, honey-yellow, red-orange, rarely colorless, grey, brown, olive-green & even black typically found as thin tabular crystals.
Hardness: 2.5-3
Mimetite is a secondary mineral found in oxidized zones of lead mineral deposits, & in other settings where lead & arsenic occur together. Mimetite forms pale-yellow, yellowish-brown, orange-yellow, orange-red, red, green, white, colorless usually rounded, barrel-shaped forms; spindle-shaped, or with cavernous basal terminations; globular, stalactic, reniform & granular crystal clusters.
