These lithographs were produced in the 1940s-1950s and sold by Catalda Fine Arts Inc. in New York City. The artworks featured are J’en Accepte L’Heureux Présage etched by Philippe Trière in 1776, and Les Adieux engraved by Robert de Launay in 1777, both from Le Monument du Costume in Paris, France. The prints and frames show some yellowing/spottiness from age. One frame shows more bending/discoloration than the other but is structurally sound and even with their present flaws, the detailing and vibrancy of the subjects makes these a welcome addition for collectors of historical art with a flair for fashion plates. Outer frames measure 18 x 15 . These will be securely and safely packed prior to shipping.
