Hand Painted set/lot of 3 hand painted gourds by Carol Bessera. Hand painted double sided with same image both sides. Images with native american meaning:

1) Buffalo - a symbol of strength, unity, and respect
2) Snake - a symbol of fertility, healing, and rebirth
3) Rainbird (from my research) - a legendary bird that brings rain and is a symbol of life.

I believe these are from the 90's as the artist is now 80. She is from New Mexico and paints ancient and modern Native American specifically Hopi designs on calabazilla gourds.

Condition: Very nice gently used condition, two are signed, I believe other is also Bessera due to pattern and the way the top string is attached, please see all photos

Dimensions/approx:
Smaller (Snake, Buffalo): 2
Larger (Rain Bird): 2.5 in
