This is an acrylic portrait I started for a dear friend of mine. Unfortunately, she passed away before I could finish the piece.
I don't want to part with it, but this piece reminds me of how age takes hold of you. The sad thing is she was old enough to be my mother. We just happened to be in a program that allows seniors who don't have the assistance to live independently. The program allows those of us in the situation of not having family near, to enjoy those our age, and enjoy like-minded activities
