Vintage 1940's Hannah Troy Black Velvet Midi Dress with Full Skirt
This dress is exquisite and the construction impeccable. Purchased for myself but it didn't fit, sadly. The velvet fabric is substantial and luxurious. Beautiful neckline and back. Hidden zipper at back. The stitch for the tiny hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper is no longer there, can be worn without or easily stitched in. Sewn-in underskirt with a hook and eye closure at the waist. Bottom of the underskirt is structured to give volume and a beautiful shape. Contrasting black panels on both sides to a sewn-on tie waist.
No size tags, but the fit is 0/2 or x-small.
Lay flat waist measurement approximately 12.5 inches.
Lay flat pit to pit measurement approximately 17.25 inches.
Full length measurement from top of strap to hem approximately 42 inches.
Couple of small imperfections on the velvet skirt, shown in last photos.
