This creamer was made by Noritake China in the lovely Sylvia pattern. It is marked: Noritake \ N \ Japan \ 6603 \ Sylvia and measures 4 inches tall and holds 8 ounces.

This beautiful small cream pitcher features pretty periwinkle blue flowers with teal leaves, and tan and gray accents on a stark white background. There also is platinum trim. It was manufactured between 1965 and 1978.

Condition is outstanding, it looks like new. There are no chips, cracks or craze marks and it is still extremely shiny. The platinum trim looks outstanding as well.

The Noritake of today grew out of a trading company that was originally established by the Morimura Brothers in New York in 1876. In 1904, the forerunner of the Noritake Company was established in the village of Noritake, a small suburb near Nagoya, Japan. The goal of this first factory was to create western-style dinnerware for export. It took until 1914, however, to create the first porcelain dinnerware plate that was suitable for export.
