DESCRIPTION/CONDITION
* For sale is a very nice realistic apple that was hand carved and hand painted in the early 20th century out of Carrara marble and made in Italy.
* This piece often known as stone or alabaster fruit is made of a white marble which can be seen from the hollowed out core seen at the bottom of the piece. It has dark marbling lines throughout coming through the paint which just makes it even more realistic.
* It is a medium sized apple measuring approximately 2-1/2" T x 2-1/2" D and weighs approximately 12.9 oz.
* Good Pre-Owned Vintage/Antique Condition: Some slight wear including minor paint loss, as well as scuffs on the piece from age, has not been cleaned by me except for a light dusting with microfiber cloth. No chips, cracks or repairs. Stem in tact.
