It powers on and the numbers on the display look good (the camera frequency does not match up so it only shows part of the display, but in person all the numbers are complete). We do not have a tape to play in it and are selling it for parts. It does not seem to play or rewind when powered on, but I am not sure if it would not work until a tape is installed. The cassette. tray slides up and opens smoothly. We ship the same business day in most cases.
