Vintage 1950s European Fountain Pen w/ Case
Not a collector got this info from a collectors group. Most likely from the 1950s and most likely from Europe. Appears to be a copy of the Parker 51 which was copied in Europe a lot back in the 1950s - although on the collector's group I posted it too was mentioned it might be Japanese
Case matches the pen but not sure if it's original or not - was mentioned that it looks like a toothbrush case from the 70s or so
NIB is marked Special Iridium Pen
Also - one of the tips on the NIB is bent. also the tip piece doesn't screw incompletely - I cleaned it with a wet paper towel and that seemed to help a bit but not sure what is the best way to clean the threads so will leave it to the buyers. Cap doesn't screw down completely because the nib piece doesn't screw all the way in but the cap will screw completely down once the tip is fixed to screw completely in
