Vintage MORIARTY 100% wool handmade ski beanie hat. “Slalomskiwear Inc” from Stowe, Vermont. Iconic knit hats from this company started in 1956 when Anabel Moriarty knit a hat from wool for her Olympic athletic son, Marvin. Today, Moriarty beanies are still knit in Stowe, Vermont and headed up by Anabel’s grandson Scott and his wife, Jess.
This original Moriarty beanie is pre owned in excellent condition and quite showy in its marigold yellow color. No smells, rips, tears or repairs.
