1950s Kodak Retina Ia (Type 015) Folding 35mm Film Camera
This Kodak Retina Ia (Type 015), made between 1951 and 1954, is a beautiful example of mid-century camera design. Compact and practical, it features a folding mechanism, a Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenar 50mm f/3.5 lens, and a Synchro-Compur shutter with speeds from 1 second to 1/500.
The camera is fully functional and in great vintage condition, with clear optics and smooth mechanics. It’s ideal for shooting 35mm film or as a collectible piece of photography history. Minor cosmetic wear reflects its age and adds to its charm.
A lovely addition for anyone passionate about analog photography or vintage cameras. I cannot stress enough how perfectly this camera was maintained and cared for- it’s quite possibly the best vintage/antique condition camera I’ve ever seen. Nearly flawless- no dust or damage to lens or inner workings.
