Authentic vintage Japanese Nambu ironware teapot (南部鉄器), made by Iwachu (岩鋳) in Morioka(盛岡本場), Japan.
Crafted in the late 1960s to early 1980s.
Hand-cast iron body with a traditional textured surface and a removable aluminum strainer.
Features a classic brown partially polished design.
Intended for brewing tea, not for direct heating.
Condition:
Used, good vintage condition.
Some signs of use, including internal patina (tea stain) and slight oxidation typical for vintage cast iron.
No cracks, no serious rust.
No original box.
