Rare, highly collectible vintage Charlotte Weibul doll. Swedish style. Handmade delicate clothing.
With an embroidered felt vest, a blue skirt with a floral apron. In good vintage condition. Blonde braids with red bows. Under her skirt is lined with a mesh material that reminds me of toole, she's also wearing pantaloons. Her feet have black wooden shoes. Lace collar and lace details on her bonnet.
Made by famous Swedish dollmaker, educator, and folklore artist, Charlotte Weibull (1917-2015). Dressed in beautiful folk dresses of the Swedish peasantry, and they are very well-known and valuable items for doll collectors throughout the world. Charlotte Weibull received global recognition for her work with national dress and especially for her production of these dolls
