Grown by me for the past five seasons in northern NH. “Rip City” is the variety that got me hooked on dahlias as it was the first I grew and stored over the winter successfully. Great for new or experienced dahlia lovers in a stunning color for late summer and fall bouquets.
“Rip City" dahlia is a dark red, almost black, informal decorative dahlia with large, velvety blooms, known for its long stems and prolific tuber production, making it a popular choice for cut flowers and gardens.
