Swedish design 1962 vintage art glass vase by Gunnar Nylund for Strömbergshyttan
Rectangular tapering crystal vase made by Strombergshyttan, sculptural vase, hand made, mouth blown, signed Stromberg H89, mid century modern art glass. The item was made in sommerso or cased technique with a smoke coloured inside layer and a transparent outside layer. Sloping cut glass top edge. Number in signature Stromberg H89 refers to a production range ending in 1962 with the highest number H91, giving an accurate production date.
The vase is in excellent vintage condition, no chips, no cracks, no flea bites, no scratches but with minor signs of wear from use and handling on the bottom surface only.
