This gorgeous porcelain box originated in France. The lid and sides are decorated with a delicate floral pattern in yellows and oranges. It fits over the jar. The body of the dish has the same simple floral designs all round it. The inside is clean and plain. The base is stamped Porcelain Designed Exclusively for Parfums Rochas.The original stamp is still adhered to it. This box originally was for some sort of powder or perfume.
This beautiful dish is approx 4.5 in diameter and 2.25 tall. It is in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips. The high polish shine is still perfectly intact.
So perfect with for holding earrings, rings or other small jewelry or trinkets. A lovely piece to add to any collection on your vanity. It would look beautiful with a collection of other trinket boxes.
