Vintage cased glass pitcher in the pink diamond mother of pearl or quilted glass finish. It is iridescent pink or pale magenta, with a white lining. Probably made by Mount Washington Glass in the late 1890's to early 1900's. The two-handled vase is about 7 1/2 high with a ruffled top, and measures about 4 1/2 in diameter at the widest point. It has two beautiful textured frosted glass handles that were applied to the body of the vase when it was blown. There is a manufacturing flaw (1/4 ) in the white casing on the inside of the ruffled lip as shown, but otherwise there are no chips, flakes, cracks or repairs. The vase is in good to very good used vintage condition - a lovely piece from a well-known American glass studio for your art glass collection.
