This is a beautiful and unique vintage studio pottery vase signed and dated by the artist, Shane Schimmel, in 1988. This piece is a wonderful example of hand-thrown ceramic art from the late 20th century.
The vase features a graceful, goblet-like form with a wide mouth and a tapered, elegant pedestal base. The primary color is a soft, muted peach or blush tone with a high-gloss, crackle glaze finish.
