This is a tailored waistcoat from France, dating back to the 1920s or 1930s.
It features high-quality black wool suit fabric with a fine weave, a beautifully shaped shawl collar, flat satin-covered buttons, angled welt pockets, and a brass needle buckle martingale at the back made of black silk cotton. The lining is a lovely silk cotton with a cream and brown striped pattern. It's in excellent condition with no tears and is ready to wear.
